Science without Borders at the University of Ulster - Undergraduate Opportunities

Our Location

We are a multi campus University based in Northern Ireland, a short one hour flight from London.

We offer study opportunities in city centre locations in Belfast and Derry/Londonderry as well as on the beautiful North Coast of Northern Ireland at our Coleraine Campus. Our Jordanstown Campus is just 7 miles from Belfast city centre at the gateway to the Causeway Coastal Route.

The National Geographic Traveller magazine recently voted Belfast in the world’s top 10 destinations for 2012.

Ulster's Magee Campus is based in Derry/Londonderry the European City of Culture for 2013.

English language requirements and Pre-sessional English

Most of our courses require you to have an IELTS overall score of 6.0 with no contributing band of less than 5.5 (or equivalent). If you do not have this level then don't worry! We offer Pre-sessional English language courses that will prepare you to meet the English language demands of our courses. Our Pre-sessional Plus course is for students whose overall IELTS score is 5.0 and our Pre-sessional Standard course is for students whose overall IELTS score is 5.5. Application

Selected courses are eligible for the Science without Borders scheme, full details of the application process is available online at http://www.international.ac.uk/member-services/partnerships/science-without-borders/how-to-apply.aspx.
When you enrol with us you will meet your Studies Adviser who will help you to choose your modules. We try to be as flexible as we can so that you are following a course of studies that will be complimentary to your course back home.
